46-year-old banker commits suicide hours after posting suicidal note on Facebook

A 46-year-old male banker has committed suicide hours after taking to Facebook to share a suicidal note.
Ibeakanma Onyechere, a married father-of-one, was found lying lifeless in his room at his home in Victoria Island, Lagos State. 
The banker, from Umuakam Afugiri in Umuahia north LGA, Abia state, reportedly left his wife a suicide note before he took his life by consuming a harmful substance on Friday, August 9, 2019. His wife, who reportedly went shopping at the time he took his life, found the note when she returned.
 The note, reportedly obtained by Igbere TV, reads: "The best, that’s what I used to call you. Finally this is the end of my journey here on earth. The evil I have been battling with has succeeded in quenching the flame. 
"You married a wrong man. You’re a good woman and you deserve the best. You need to be happy. You need to soar. Please take care of our princess Chinenyenwa.
"Tell her that I love her so much. Be peaceable with everyone though not gonna be easy. Tell my family not to harbour any resentment against you. You’re a blessing to us.
"That’s the wish of a dying man. Don’t cry for me but pray for me. I love you and chinenye so much. Good Bye My beloved."
He also shared a Facebook post that hinted at his imprending suicide. It reads: "THE LIGHT IS GRADUALLY DIMMING OUT............"
Until his death, Mr. Ibeakanma was a Human relationship Manager at the UBA.

BREAKING: El-Zakzaky, Wife Set To Travel To India For Treatment

Leader of the Islamic Movement in Nigeria, Sheikh Ibrahim El-Zakzaky and his wife, Zeenat, are set to travel to India for medical treatment.
They arrived at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja on Monday where they would be taking off from, following the order of the Kaduna State High court which granted them leave to undergo treatment at an Indian hospital of their choice.
This followed an application by El-Zakzaky’s counsel and human rights activist, Femi Falana (SAN), to allow them to travel for treatment as a result of their deteriorating health condition.
Justice Darius Khobo, thereafter, granted the leave on August 5, adding that the IMN leader and his wife would be accompanied abroad by officials of the Kaduna State Government.
Their trial is expected to resume as soon as they return from the trip.


Pastor Rejects SUV And 4 Million Naira From Yahoo Yahoo Boys

An Anambra State-based pastor, Ejike Nwachukwu, has rejected ₦4million and a Sports Utility Vehicle offered to him by two suspected Internet fraudsters in exchange for prayers for the success of a deal they were to engage in.
When the pastor, a lawyer, studied them, he had to ask them of their source of income.
The Pastor revealed :
“Two young men came to my office the other day with ₦2m cash. They said it was seed offering and that they had a business they were looking forward to God to bless soon and that the money was seed offering.
“I looked at the two young boys with ₦2m. I asked them what business they were expecting and they said it was a deal and that they would bring more money to me once the deal paid off. They promised to buy me a SUV.
“I prayed and the Lord revealed to me that it was Internet fraud and I told them so and they confirmed it was true. walked them out of my office, but one returned with an extra ₦2m in the hope that if the money was much, I would accept it, but I sent them out.”
The clergyman described those who indulged in Internet fraud as worse than armed robbers.
